1. Thomas¹ Stagg Sr (#189) was born 1804. Thomas died May 1885 at 80 years of age.

He married Nancy McDermott 1840. (Nancy McDermott is #190.) Nancy was born 1824. Nancy died abt 1880. At 16 years of age Nancy became the mother of Amanda Stagg January 24, 1841. At 18 years of age Nancy became the mother of Mary Jane Stagg October 16, 1842.

At 36 years of age Thomas became the father of Amanda Stagg January 24, 1841. At 38 years of age Thomas became the father of Mary Jane Stagg October 16, 1842.

Thomas Stagg Sr and Nancy McDermott had the following family:

2 i. Amanda² Stagg (#188) was born January 24, 1841. Amanda died June 8, 1924 in Albany, IL, at 83 years of age. She married three times. She married Edmund Efner January 1858. (Edmund Efner is #192.) Edmund was born 1841. Edmund died June 3, 1860 in Albany, IL, at 18 years of age. At 17 years of age Edmund became the father of Delia Efner January 7, 1859. At 19 years of age Edmund became the father of Mary Edmund Efner July 8, 1860. (See Edmund Efner for the continuation of this line.) She married John Craig 1861. (John Craig is #198.) John was born 1841. At 21 years of age John became the father of Emma La Rue Craig August 2, 1862. At 25 years of age John became the father of Margaret Laura Craig September 5, 1866. At 26 years of age John became the father of Elsie May Craig April 10, 1868. At 30 years of age John became the father of Clara Maude Craig October 15, 1871. At 33 years of age John became the father of Martha Alice Craig May 26, 1875. (See John Craig for the continuation of this line.) She married Sylvester Booth 1880-1886. (Sylvester Booth is #204.) Sylvester was born 1841. Sylvester died November 3, 1903 at 62 years of age.

At 17 years of age Amanda became the mother of Delia Efner January 7, 1859. At 19 years of age Amanda became the mother of Mary Edmund Efner July 8, 1860. At 21 years of age Amanda became the mother of Emma La Rue Craig August 2, 1862. At 25 years of age Amanda became the mother of Margaret Laura Craig September 5, 1866. At 27 years of age Amanda became the mother of Elsie May Craig April 10, 1868. At 30 years of age Amanda became the mother of Clara Maude Craig October 15, 1871. At 34 years of age Amanda became the mother of Martha Alice Craig May 26, 1875.

3 ii. Mary Jane Stagg (#191) was born October 16, 1842. Mary died April 14, 1930 at 87 years of age. She married Leonard Slaymaker February 26, 1861. (Leonard Slaymaker is #313.) Leonard was born in PA September 27, 1826. Leonard died September 27, 1826 at less than one year of age.
