Abraham is our earliest known Larimore at present. He was born in Virginia around 1776. However, Kentucky was part of Virginia at that time and since we know he lived in Madison County, Kentucky, he may have been born in either state. If he was born in Virginia, he was living in Madison County, Kentucky at the time of his marriage to Mary Davis. We have no information on Mary, but know she was Abraham's second wife. His earlier wife was named Polly Brock, by which a daughter, Eliza, was produced.

Abraham's marriage with Mary produced at least ten children: Samuel, Nancy, Henry, Elizabeth, Silas, Sally, Phoebe, John, Mary, and Susan.

Abraham moved his family to Missouri in 1835, settling in Callaway County. It is believed Abraham and Mary lived out their remaining lives in Callaway County, in the Fulton area.
