Know all men by their presents that we John Evins Richard Haines & Joseph Boss? are held and firmly bound unto his Excellency the governor of Virginia for the time being and his successors in the just & full sum of one Hundred and fifty Dollars current money which payment will and truly to be made We bind ourselves our heirs excutors? adminstrators firmly by these presents sealed with our seals. and Dated this 22nd Day of August 1795 The Condition of the above obligation to such that where as the above bound John Evins hath this day obtained a License from his marriage with Sarah Haines daughter of Richard Haines now if there should be no legal cause to obstruct the marriage then this obligation to be void else remain in full force and virtue.
