Alvin R Dees of Vance township died at his home at 4:30 Wednesday
morning, Funeral Services were conducted from the Weddington Methodist
Church this afternoon at 3 o'clock by Rev Dave Bennett assisted by 
Rev J O Cox Internment was in the Church cemetery. 
He is survived by his wife three daughter Mrs H A Ellebogen of Columbia Sc.
Mrs S E Hartley of Albany GA and Lieut Mildred R Deese with the US Army
overseas two sons Robert A Deese and T F Deese of the US Army. Two sisters
Mrs R W Killough of Indian Trail and Mrs T A Killough of Norfolk Va.
Also 6 brothers B L of Mecklenberg county R S and A T of Indian Trail
J C C S and P H of Wesley Chapel
