This web site is dedicated in memory of my Mother Velma Mae Deem, who told me so many stories about my ancestors. As many of you know my mother Velma Deem donated her body to Human Gift Registry at West Virginia University in Morgantown, WV. They have a memorial book that is located there with the names of those in it that have donated to them. If you are ever at the University you can view the book located in the Health Sciences Center at WVU. They are on the Evansdale Campus. The building is located directly behind Ruby Memorial. The Department of Anatomy is located on the 4th Floor and they are in room number is 4052 |

Welcome to the web site for the Deem
Family. This site starts with Valentine & Eva Diehm who are the
parents of Johannes Adam Diehm who came to America from Waldmichelbach,
Germany 1751 arriving on the ship Janet landing in Philadelphia,
PA on Monday October 7th 1751.
It is our goal to complete all of the branches of the Deem Family. There are many ways to spell our last name since Johannes Diehm came over it has changed to Deem, Deems and Deams. We welcome any information that you may have to add to the site. We are looking for the following: missing names, dates, pictures or anything pertaining to our family. |
