Boyer, a nephew, is planning to attend. Mrs. McGlothlan is survived by a son, Dr. A.B. McGlothlan of St. Joseph."
Kay Boyer Matthews remembers that she often visited with Aunt Mandy and Uncle Samuel, while she was attending High School in Savannah. She said Aunt Mandy always wore the dunkard bonnet. Daughter-in-law, Anna Fakes McGlothlan bought her beige, brown and blue hats to wear when she went to town with Anna. Kay says Mandy wasn't sure about that, but when she asked Samuel if he thought it was okay, he said that if Anna wanted her to wear them, it was okay. Thereafter, she wore the hats to town for Anna.
Kay said that Mandy died of pneumonia.
