     Crosetta was born in 1901. She was the daughter of John Nelt Loghry and Elizabeth Mae Warren. Crosetta Loghry died in 1959.¹

     Charles Walthers was the son of Crosetta Loghry. Charles died circa 1997.

     Burl was born in 1902. He was the son of John Nelt Loghry and Elizabeth Mae Warren. Burl Almond Loghry died in 1963.¹

     Claude Loghry was born on 26 February 1928.¹ He was the son of Burl Almond Loghry. Claude died on 29 December 1996 at age 68.¹

     She married William Conrad Jones. Emma was born in 1904. She was the daughter of John Nelt Loghry and Elizabeth Mae Warren. Emma Marie Loghry died in 1969.¹

     He married Emma Marie Loghry. William was born in 1900. William died in 1981.

      Her married name was Walthers. Vera was born in 1905. She was the daughter of John Nelt Loghry and Elizabeth Mae Warren. Vera Ione Loghry died in 1993.¹

     Ralph was born in 1908. He was the son of John Nelt Loghry and Elizabeth Mae Warren. Ralph died in 1909.

     Kermit was born in 1910. He was the son of John Nelt Loghry and Elizabeth Mae Warren. Kermit died in 1988.

     Lelia was born in 1912. She was the daughter of John Nelt Loghry and Elizabeth Mae Warren. Lelia Genevieve Loghry died in 1933.¹

     Goldie died in 1915.¹ Goldie was born in 1915. She was the daughter of John Nelt Loghry and Elizabeth Mae Warren.

     He married Earlene Virginia Williams. Colin was born in 1919. He was the son of John Nelt Loghry and Elizabeth Mae Warren. Colin Richard Loghry died in 2001.¹

     Victor was born at Burwell, Garfield County, Nebraska, on 2 February 1922. Victor was the 12th child of Jon Nelt and Eliza Mae (Warren) Loghry. His early years were spent in the Sand Hills of Nebraska, where he attended a one-room school with many of his brothers and sisters. The family moved from Burwell to the Paradise Valley area in 1934 when he was 11 years old. They homesteaded there and farmed for many years. Vic Loghry continued with school and worked for several farmers and ranchers in Fremont County..¹ He was the son of John Nelt Loghry and Elizabeth Mae Warren. He married Della Elizabeth Bennett at Ogden, Weber County, Utah, on 10 April 1943. They lived in Ogden for a short time while he worked at Hill Air Force Base..¹ Victor Merle Loghry began military service on 24 May 1944 serving as a military policeman.¹ He ended military service on 23 May 1946. He was honorably discharged from military service and returned to Fremont County..¹ He and Della Elizabeth Bennett moved in 1952 to Riverton, Fremont County, Wyoming, and later bought a small farm in Paradise Valley.¹ Victor Merle Loghry died on 18 January 2005 at Casper, Natrona County, Wyoming, at age 82.¹ He was buried on 21 January 2005 at Mountain View Cemetery located in Riverton, Fremont County, Wyoming.¹

     George died. George was born in 1883. He was the son of Joseph B. Loghry and Nancy Emma Van Houghten.

     Anna M. Vold was born on 8 April 1866 at Trondheim, Norway.^1,2 She was the daughter of Christofer Vold and Mette Regina Jonsdatter. Anna M. Vold emigrated circa 1886 from Trondheim, Norway.² She married Iver Magnus Hanson on 22 July 1895.^3,2 As of 22 July 1895, her married name was Hanson.^4,2 The 1900 Census listed Anna M. Vold in addition to Mabel Blanche Hanson, Hannah Marie Hanson and Clara Josephine Hanson in the household of Iver Magnus Hanson, in Pleasant Valley, Clay County, South Dakota.⁵ Anna M. Vold was enumerated as Anna Hanson. White female, age 34, born April 1866 in Norway, as were both parents. Married 5 years with three children, all living. Unknown year of immigration.⁶ Iver died in 1914 at Clay County, South Dakota, leaving Anna M. Vold a widow at age 48.⁷ Anna M. Vold was enumerated as Anna Hanson. White female, age 53. Windowed. Relationship to head of of the family listed as Renter. Immigrated to the United States in 1868. Naturalized citizen in 1874. Able to read, write, and speak English. Occupation listed as Washer for a private family. She was born in Norway, as were both parents. Their mother tongue was Norwegian.⁸ Anna M. Vold was enumerated as Anna Hanson. Widowed white female, age 64. Able to read and write. Born in Norway, as were both parents. Immigrated in 1886 and is naturalized citizen. She was a servant to the family she lived with: Harl Richardson and his sons Clark, John and Ralph and daughters Margaret and Mary.⁹ She died on 7 May 1952 at Dakota Hospital, Vermillion, Clay County, South Dakota, at age 86.^10,2

Anna Hanson Aged Resident of City Dies
     Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Hanson aged resident of Vermillion, who died yesterday at Dakota Hospital, will be held Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church with Rev. D. W. Preus officiating.
     Mrs. Anna Hanson was born April 8 1866 in Trondheim Norway and came to this country at the age of 20 settling in Sioux City, Iowa. On July 22, 1895 she was married to Iver M. Hanson and the couple moved to a farm in the Westreville community the next year. In 1909 they moved to Vermillion where Mrs. Hanson spent the remaining 43 years of her life.
     Her husband died in 1912, leaving Mrs. Hanson with 7 children, all of whom were with her at the time of her death. Mrs. Hanson was a lifelong member of of the Lutheran Church. After serving in the Ladies Aid for many years, she was granted an honorary membership in that organization on reaching her 80th year.
     She is survived by 4 daughters and 3 sons. They are: Mrs. Jens Jorgenson, Mrs. Jesse Harrington, Mrs. Henry Lambert, all of Vermillion, Mrs. Arthur Rasmussen, Capitola, CA; Peter Hanson, Meckling, Melvin Hanson, Van Nuys, California and Ingval Hanson of Minneapolis, MN.
     There are 16 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. The casket bearers will all be grandsons of Mrs. Hanson.
     Interment will be in the Pleasant Valley Lutheran Cemetery with the Elmore Wagner funeral home in charge.² She was buried at Pleasant Valley Lutheran Cemetery, Pleasant Valley, Clay County, South Dakota.²

     Christofer Vold was born in 1834 at Nedre Stjordalen, Norway.¹ As of 1834, Christofer Vold was also known as Kristofer. His long name was Kristoer Olson Litlaunet. He married Mette Regina Jonsdatter.
     It is very possible that Ole and his family have been found on a farm called Skjervoldsplads in the sub parish of Skatvold, parish of N. Stjørdal, in the fylke of Nord Trøndelag. The census shows Kristofer Olson, born in 1835. Wife was Mette Jonsdatter, born 1830. Two sons, Johan Kristofersen, born 1856, and Ole Peter Kristofersen, born 1860. He was listed as a "husman."
     Almost all our ancestors who emigrated were husmen and their families. Their lives were extremely difficult in Norway. There were many reasons people left, the biggest reason was to try to get a better life for the family and especially to secure more opportunity for their children. Almost all of the early emigration from Norway was composed of
entire family groups. Single people who came were generally sisters or brothers or other relatives of parents of the family.²
      Christofer Vold emigrated in 1892 from Norway.³ The 1900 Census listed Christofer Vold in addition to Magdalene Peterson, Edwin A. Johnson and Carl John Christopherson in the household of Ole Peter Christopherson, in Pleasant Valley, Clay County, South Dakota.⁴ Christofer Vold was enumerated as Christopher Vold. White male, age 66, born February 1834, age 66, widowed. Place of birth: Norway, as were both parents. Immigrated 1892; 7 years in the U.S.³ The 1910 Census listed Christofer Vold in addition to Magdalene Peterson in the household of Ole Peter Christopherson, in Pleasant Valley, Clay County, South Dakota.⁵

     Mette Regina Jonsdatter was born in 1829 at Nedre Stjordalen, Norway. Her married name was Vold. She married Christofer Vold.

      Christian F. Hansen was also known as Christian F. Martinson He was an orphan. The Selks took him into their home where he fell in love with and married their daughter. He married Magdalene Ida Selk. Christian was born on 13 June 1868. Christian died on 29 November 1909 at age 41.

     She married Christian F. Hansen. Magdalene was born on 26 December 1863. Magdalene died on 12 January 1919 at age 55.

     Bengta Erlansdotter was born on 20 December 1833 at Norra Asum, Sweden.¹ She was the daughter of Trooper Erland Krantz and Karna Olsdotter.¹

     Kitty died. Kitty was born at Webster circa 1868. She was the daughter of Joseph B. Loghry and Nancy Emma Van Houghten.

     He married Estes Verley. Clarence died in 1974.

     Victoria died in 1998. Victoria was born in 1943. She was the daughter of Vera Ione Loghry.

     She married Colin Richard Loghry. Earlene died in 1998. Earlene was born in 1926.

     She married Victor Merle Loghry at Ogden, Weber County, Utah, on 10 April 1943.¹ As of 10 April 1943, her married name was Loghry.¹ Della Elizabeth Bennett and Victor Merle Loghry moved in 1952 to Riverton, Fremont County, Wyoming, and later bought a small farm in Paradise Valley.¹ Della Elizabeth Bennett died on 28 December 2000.¹

     James died. James was born in November 1891. He was the son of John Dwight Loghry.

     Charles died. Charles was born in July 1893. He was the son of John Dwight Loghry.

     Milton died. Milton was born in April 1881.¹ He was the son of Electa Elizabeth Loghry.

     Grover died. Grover was born in June 1884.¹ He was the son of Electa Elizabeth Loghry.

     Thomas died. Thomas was born in February 1886.¹ He was the son of Electa Elizabeth Loghry.
