| HOME LOCATION GRAVESITES PRESERVATION WORK IN PROGRESS | | The trees and bushes were cut from the cemetery June 8. Billy Neal had two of his workers come in and cut them and pile them for later burning. As Billy's contribution he paid the workers out of his pocket, so none of the donations that have been received were used on this cleanup project.
Mark Neal of "Neal Construction" was kind enough to make a special trip with one of his bulldozers and his operator and cleared a parking lot across the dirt road west of the cemetery. There was no charge for this. Mark is also a descendant of the Deadwyler family.
Mr. Ronald Outz, also a descendant, came out with his chain saw and worked on clearing up the cemetery.
All are to be commended for their work and support. There is still much work to be done cleaning up the cemetery. There were what seemed to be walls of an old crypt located and dug up in the cleaning process. This was found near the south wall of the cemetery. Does anyone out there know who this old destroyed memorial belonged to? Thanks again for all the support. HENRY DRENNAN | |
