The Register Newspaper, 13th November 1852

 

The Barque China, which arrived at the Lightship on Thursday night at 12 o’clock experienced very fine weather

during the passage, not having had a heavy gale of wind since leaving Plymouth. There were no deaths among

the adults but among the young children there were ten deaths, nine of these being under 2 years old

 

 

Friday November 12 – The Barque China, 658 Tons, George McMillan, Master from London and Plymouth. 26th July

Passengers in the Cabin – Mrs McMillan, Mrs Blue and 3 children, Mrs Langdon, Mr and Mrs Cox, Miss Cox and

Mr Sinclair Blue, Surgeon Superintendant.

All the following emigrants embarked at Plymouth
