Boyd (she was probably William's wife), all in the 1860 census ofNaperville, Du Page co., IL. (FHC film #803,175, page 2). This WilliamBoyd could have been Thomas' brother.

All info on him, his wife (Louisa), and their child, came from the 1880census of Naperville, Du Page co., IL. (see FHC film #1254204, page310A). Thomas was a farmer there. They also had two sons, 19 year oldWilliam, and 17 year old Jeptha, both born in IL. and with a last name ofKissgen, on the 1880 census CD (this last name should be "Kenyon"), whichmeans they were children of Louisa's first marriage. Thomas, and hisfamily, were living next door to Ira Ferry & Sarah Briggs, in 1870.

In the 1880 census (below) the children are listed as "Boyd".
