Obituary: Mrs. Faulk's Rites Monday
Mrs. James W. Faulk, 84, a Dallasite for 41 years will be buried in Restland
Memorial Park following services at 10 a.m. Monday in Restland Funeral Chapel,
Greenville and Valley View Lane.
Rev. William Dickinson, pastor of Highland Park Methodist, will officiate.
Mrs. Faulk died Friday night' in a Dallas nursing home after an illness of two
months. Death resulted from a cerebral hemorrhage.
Mrs. Faulk, who lived with her son, James F. Faulk of 3012 Amherst, was
born in Henderson County. She came to Dallas from Corsicana in 1918. Survivors,
besides her husband and son, are two brothers, Amos of Dallas and Hayden of Union
Springs, Ala.; one sister, Mrs. Eula Wood of Lubbock; and two grandchildren,
James S. Faulk of Dallas and Mrs. H. H. Cunningham Jr. of Berkeley, Mo.
Pallbearers will be Z. W. Bodenheimer, R. B. Hickcox, Ernest S. Kennedy,
Vernon W. Rohde, James W. Sterling and R. F. White.
The family requests that any memorials be made in the form of contributions
to organizations of the contributors' choice.
