Elder A. J. Wann Kills Himself
Woodville, AL, January 20 – Elder A. J. Wann, an aged and respected Primitive Baptist Minister of this place, committed suicide at his home here this morning by cutting his throat from ear to ear with a razor. He was found dead in a small room off from his own room a short time after the deed was committed.
Elder Wann was 70 years old and is survived by his widow and six grown children. He is believed to have been insane when he killed himself. His family had noticed for a month or more that he was not responsible mentally but it was hoped that his trouble would pass away.
