Addis Wayne Clayton

Addis Wayne CLAYTON, 72, died Sunday, August 3, 2003, at his home in Owens Cross Roads. Mr. Clayton was a veteran of the Korean War and served as chairman of the Deacons at New Salem Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife Imogene M. CLAYTON; one daughter, Wynema COFFEY (Russ) of Huntsville; one son, Martin DeWayne CLAYTON (Sherry) of New Hope; four grandsons, Matt CLAYTON, Chris CLAYTON, Josh COFFEY and Tyler COFFEY; two sisters, Wanda SINARD of Owens Cross Roads and Sharon Honea of Kingsport, Tenn.; and two brothers, Dale CLAYTON of Owens Cross Roads and Gary CLAYTON of Caracas, Venezuela. Arrangements are being handled by New Hope Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 1 to 9 p.m. today. The funeral service will be at New Salem Baptist Church at 1 p.m. Tuesday with Rev. Richard ANDERSON officiating. His body will be at the church one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Moon Cemetery. The family wishes to express appreciation to Southern Care Hospice of Huntsville.
