William E. McKINNEY, 63, of Owens Cross Roads, died Thursday at his residence. The funeral was to be today art 1 p.m. at Laughlin-Service Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial was to be in Moon Cemetery at Owens Cross Roads. The Rev. James BARRY was to officiate.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mae C. McKINNEY, Owens Cross Roads; a son, John McKINNEY, Owens Cross Roads; two daughters, Mrs. Flora McDONALD, Owens Cross Roads, and Mrs. Myrle FOWLER, Brownsboro; a brother, Howard McKINNEY, Owens Cross Roads; a sister, Mrs. Sarah TABOR; and three grandchildren.
Pallbearers were to be Pete WOODY, Paul SMITH, Wilburn LAYNE, Alfred PINKERTON, David PINKERTON Jr., and Robert LANE.

OWENS CROSS ROADS – Mae C. McKINNEY, 83, of 2916 Old Big Cove Road died Sunday at her home. The funeral will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at New Hope Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Doug HEMPHILL and the Rev. Matthew PENFIELD officiating. Burial will be in Moon Cemetery.
Survivors include two daughters, Myrle FOWLER of Brownsboro and Flora McDONALD of Owens Cross Roads; one son, John L. McKINNEY of Owens Cross Roads; two sisters, Clercia CRAIG of Jasper and Pearline WILLIAMS of New Hope; and three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Visitation is today from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice or American Cancer Society.
