Josiah Dayton. Born Sept 20, 1714 in Newtown, CT and died in New Milford, CT May 18, 1758¹.

       He was a private in the French & Indian War. In 1734, he married Catherine Beardsley and had four children¹. She died

January 31, 1743. He then married Hannah L. Boardman who was born 1/12/1717 (or 1718)¹.

   Notice that Josiah, his wife and their daughter Hannah all died in the same year only days apart.
