     Simpson Hammond was the son of Jedediah Hammond and Mary Bolles. Simpson Hammond settled in Richmond, N.H. but later moved to Vermont, where he has many descendants. His youngest son was Jedediah, who settled in Mt. Holly, Vt.

     Solomon Hammond was the son of Benjamin Hammond.

     Sylvanus Hammond was born circa 1718. He was the son of Seth Hammond and Mary Mercy Randall.¹ Sylvanus Hammond married Harriet Randall on 7 February 1749 at Rochester, Plymouth Co., MA. Sylvanus Hammond died at Rochester, Plymouth Co., MA.

     Sylvanus Hammond died Young. He was born on 19 March 1756 at Rochester, Plymouth Co., MA. He was the son of Sylvanus Hammond and Harriet Randall. Sylvanus Hammond married Charity (Surname Unknown) before 1785 at New Bedford, Bristol Co., MA.

     Sylvanus Hammond was born on 10 January 1786. He was the son of Sylvanus Hammond and Charity (Surname Unknown).

     Sylvia Hammond was the daughter of Benjamin Hammond.

     Thankful Slocum Hammond was born on 13 November 1815 at Kingsclear, York, New Brunswick, Canada. He was the son of Lathrop Hammond and Bathsheba Slocum Joslin. Thankful Slocum Hammond died on 8 September 1816 at age 0.

     Thomas Hammond was born in 1545 at Lavenham, Suffolk, England.¹ He was the son of John Hammond and Agnes Garrold.¹ Thomas Hammond married Rose Trippe, daughter of Mr. Trippe and Mrs. Trippe, on 14 May 1573 at Lavenham, Suffolk, England.¹ Thomas Hammond died on 24 November 1589 at Lavenham, Suffolk Co., MA.¹

     Thomas Hammond was born on 16 September 1687.¹ He was the son of Samuel Hammond and Mary (Mercy) Hathaway.¹ Thomas Hammond married Sarah Spooner on 6 April 1721.² Thomas Hammond had lands in Wales, Mass. and Dutchess County, NY. In 1730 he petitioned for a grant of 2,000 acres of land in Orange and Ulster Counties in NY, formerly granted to Capt. John Evans. A large part of his descendants were early settlers in the eastern part of New York.³

     Thomas Hammond was the son of Benjiman Hammond and (Given Name Unknown) Spooner. Thomas Hammond married Esther Howard on 31 January 1720.¹

     Thomas Storm Hammond was born on 12 August 1862 at New York, New York Co., NY.³ He was the son of John Archelaus Hammond and Amelia Prince Platt.^1,2 Thomas Storm Hammond married Bertha M. Kittle, daughter of Douw S. Kittle and Martha A. Strong, circa 1882. Thomas Storm Hammond appeared on the census of 19 June 1900 at Town of Greenburgh, Westchester Co., NY.^4,5 He died on 20 February 1916 at Rye, Westchester Co., NY, at age 53.² He was buried on 23 February 1916 at Rural Cemetery, 167 N Broadway, White Plains, Westchester Co., NY. The undertaker was John L. Cooper, Rye NY. Rural Cemetery 914 949 0072.

On June 12, 1916 he was moved to section 168-3-A-4 (West Potantico section) of the Kensico Cemetery, Valhalla, NY where his wife was later buried.² Thomas was born in NYC and later lived in Hartsdale, NY where he ran a general store for many years. He belonged to the Greenville Fire Company. Died of a heart attack at age 54.
The NYC Directory for 1890 lists him as a collector doing business at 176 Broadway, NYC and living in Blauvelt, NY. The family is listed in the 1900 census (Vol 264, ED 60, Sheet 8, Line 88). Shirley, Leonard and Mildred are not listed in the 1890 census. They were probably born later.

     William Hammond was born on 30 October 1575 at Lavenham, Suffolk, England.¹ He was the son of Thomas Hammond and Rose Trippe.¹ William Hammond died on 8 October 1662 at Watertown, Middlesex Co., MA, at age 86.¹ William Hammond also went by the name of William of Watertown.² Some researchers would have this William Hammond to be the husband of Elizabeth Penn Hammond. I have not been able to prove that so I have not made that link.

     William Hammond was the son of Cyphrus Hammond.

     William Hammond was born circa 1590 at London, Kent, England. He married Elizabeth Penn, daughter of William Penn, circa 1620. William Hammond died before 1634 at London, Kent, England. Elizabeth [Penn] Hammond's husband, William Hammond, had died in England. In 1634, Elizabeth and her children, Benjamin, Elizabeth, Martha, and Rachel set sail from London for the Plymouth Colony on the ship "Griffin". Elizabeth sailed with the party of the Reverend John Lathrop and landed in Boston on September 18, 1634. Eventually, the Hammonds and Lathrops settled in Barnstable, Mass.

     William Hammond was born on 13 February 1664. He was the son of John Hammond and Mary Somes.

     William Lothrop Hammond was born on 8 January 1810 at Kingsclear, York, New Brunswick, Canada. He was the son of Lathrop Hammond and Bathsheba Slocum Joslin.

     William T. Hammond was born circa 1809. He was the son of Archelaus Hammond III and Elizabeth Close. William T. Hammond died in 1884.

     Raymond Stanley Hansford died at Kent, England. He married Helen Eagles Nash, daughter of Henry (Chunky) Nash and Gertrude Violet (Vi) Wagstaff. Raymond Stanley Hansford was born on 2 December 1916.

     Ann Harris married Amos Clarke Nash, son of James Nash and Mary (?) Clarke, on 16 March 1837 at St. Phillip's Church, Birmingham, England.¹ Ann Harris died in June 1842 at Birmingham. Ann may have died in childbirth of a daugther.¹

     William Harrison was born in 1880. He married Clara Nash, daughter of Amos Clark Nash Jr and Harriet Bail, on 25 December 1900 at St. Gabriel's Church, Birmingham, England.

     Nicholas Hartman was born at Warren Co., NY.

     Sally Hartman was the daughter of Nicholas Hartman. Sally Hartman married Ebenezer Hammond, son of Jonathan Hammond. Sally Hartman died in August 1875 at Hammond, Tioga Co., PA.

     Arthur Hathaway was born in 1638 at Dartmouth, Bristol Co., MA.¹ He was the son of Arthur Hathaway and Mrs. Arthur Hathaway.¹ Arthur Hathaway married Sarah Cooke, daughter of John Cooke and Sarah Warren, on 20 November 1652 at Duxbury, Plymouth Co., MA.¹ Arthur Hathaway died on 2 February 1711 at Dartmouth, Bristol Co., MA.¹

     Arthur Hathaway was born circa 1605 at Wales.¹ He married Mrs. Arthur Hathaway.¹ Arthur Hathaway died at MA.¹

     Mrs. Arthur Hathaway was born in 1616 at England.¹ She married Arthur Hathaway.¹

     Hannah Hathaway was born circa 1660 at Dartmouth, Bristol Co., MA. She was the daughter of Arthur Hathaway and Sarah Cooke.

     John Hathaway was born on 17 September 1653 at Plymouth, Plymouth Co., MA. He was the son of Arthur Hathaway and Sarah Cooke.

     Jonathan Hathaway was born circa 1672 at Dartmouth, Bristol Co., MA. He was the son of Arthur Hathaway and Sarah Cooke.

     Lydia Hathaway was born circa 1662 at Dartmouth, Bristol Co., MA. She was the daughter of Arthur Hathaway and Sarah Cooke.

     Mary (Mercy) Hathaway was born in 1665 at Dartmouth, Bristol Co., MA.¹ She was the daughter of Arthur Hathaway and Sarah Cooke.¹ This marriage links subsequent Hammond decendants back to the Mayflower. Mary (Mercy) Hathaway married Samuel Hammond, son of Benjamin Hammond and Mary Vincent, circa 1681 at Rochester, Plymouth Co., MA.¹ Mary (Mercy) Hathaway died after 1728 at Rochester, Plymouth Co., MA.¹
