This is a site dedicated to the research and search for my ancestors in Baltimore, Maryland. My family centered around the eastern border of Baltimore City and southeastern section of Baltimore County, known as Highlandtown and Canton. The Huber's originally came to Baltimore from Germany in the 1850s & 60s. The Hummel's are a different matter, but I think they came from Germany via Pennsylvania.
