This headstone is for Pte. Albert Roberts and his brother Pte. David Roberts. Their pictures are in the photo gallery.
They both served during the Great War. Albert died from injuries received whilst fighting in France and Flanders. He spent his final days at the V.A.D Hospital in Braintree, Essex. He was 19 years old.
David was killed in action whilst serving in France. He is buried in Vauxhall Hill Cemetery. He was 27 years old.
