John V. Geyer, 67, of Adamsville road, Route 3, died at 8:47 a.m. Saturday at Good Samaritan Medical Center following a short illness.
Mr. Geyer was born on Sept. 18, 1907 in Salem Township and had been a resident of this area all of his life. He was a retired employee of Mattingly Food.
Surviving are his widow, Mildred Harden Geyer; two sons, Bernard of 3229 Wayne Ridge road and Gary of 3349 National road; a daughter, Mrs. Ellen Roseann Jackson of Huntington, Ind.; a brother, George Geyer of Route 5; four sisters, Mrs. John (Bessie) Wheeler, Mrs. R. N. (Mary) McConnell and Mrs. George (Gertrude) Harden, all of Route 5 and Mrs. Grace Harden of Lewisville; eight grandchildren and six step grandchildren.
The body was taken to the Bryan Funeral Home where friends may call 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today [23 Mar 1975] and Monday [24 Mar 1975].
He was buried in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Washington Township, Muskingum County, Ohio.⁽³⁴¹³⁾

He was married to Mildred Harden (daughter of Noah Harden and Mary Nolan) on 30 Sep 1933.⁽³⁴¹⁴⁾ Mildred Harden was born on 30 Apr 1916 in Washington Township, Muskingum County, Ohio.^{(3415) (795)} She resided 4707 Webster St in Aug 1991 in Sonora, Muskingum County, Ohio.⁽³⁴¹⁶⁾ She died on 25 Aug 1991.^{(3417) (795)} She was buried in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Washington Township, Muskingum County, Ohio.^{(3418) (3419)} John V. Geyer and Mildred Harden had the following children:
