Dorothy Louise Ullom

July 17, 1917 ~ January 5, 2001

Ullom, Dorothy Louise (nee Perkins) Born July 27, 1917, in Ada Michigan Passed away January 5, 2001 in Lancaster, California. She is survived by her Daughters, Doreen Buchan and husband Mike Buchan, Grandchildren, Shannon, Bonnie, Waylon and Adam Buchan of Vernonia Oregon; Daughter Darla Vanderlip and husband Richard, Grandchildren Kristen and Matthew Vanderlip of Castaic, California. Nieces Dianne and Janice and Nephew Bruce, and her beloved cats, Rusty and Teddy.

Dorothy is preceded in death by Leo Glenn Ullom, her daughter Gloria Jan Ullom and her Grandson Jason Prescott. Her many interests included being a Girl scout Leader, Aviation, flying helicopters, Orchid Society, Gardening and Writing short stories. Dorothy was a member of the Retail clerks Union, A grocery checker for Unimart, Thrifty Drug and Von's Grocery Store from 1953 through 1970. She later became a Tupperware Sale's Lady, Having her own unit "The Sunbeams" A Career which she enjoyed during the years of 1968 through 1988.

Dorothy will be greatly missed by the many friends who's lives she touched. And always remembered with loving thoughts by her grieving family. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Heart association in her memory. Interment will be private.
