Dear Father and Mother will write to let you know we are well. hope you are all well. We had a right smart frost last night. We got done picking cotton day before yesterday. We made 4 bales that averaged 573 lbs. and 1.045 remaining. We have got all of our feed gathered. We made 26 loads of corn and 9 loads of maise and we have got old corn enough to faten our meat we are feeding 5 good hogs and two of them is good fat now. We have had fed them all Summer. I wish we could see you all but I guess we will not get to come down there this winter. We have so many cattle to see after. You all come and see us if you can. Well as I have to go to town will close.
