Our ancestors came to America from Germany, England, Ireland, Scotland and France. Families arrival in America is recorded in the document emigration. The earliest arrivals entered the port in Philadelphia, later some arrived in New York and some in Galveston. The ships located so far are recorded in Three Mast Ships. Each family coming to America made their way to TEXAS in the 1800's. See their journey.

I began my family history research as a requirement for a history class. The research soon became a quest to learn the rewards and challenges of my ancestors. My mother's family history involves Wend history and is quite a story. I've also learned about Wend Traditions and Celebrations.

Many of our ancestors fought for America in the Revolutionary War, War of 1812, Civil War, WWI, WWII, Vietnam or Desert Storm. A poem was written by my son in 2001 (as a 7th grader) to honor those who have served their country. TRIBUTE TO AMERICA
