The Captain's name, James Craig and the names of two of the passengers,
Alex'r Gray and Mrs. Gray,(Isabella Craig).They were from Scotland,not

Below,you will find information
from the Paterson,N.J.1870 Census. Notice the names of the children.
The third child's name was James.Could this be the grandson of the ship's captain James Craig?Isabella's father?
Paterson was known as the Silk City
until about the middle thirties, when the mills moved to the South where
labor was cheaper. Many immigrants came from the mills in the British Isles
to work in the United States.
The above Census was found at the Indian River Family History Library in
Vero Beach, Florida, which is known for its superb genealogical resources
and particularly for its materials on New York and New Jersey.
