Two Thorne Cemeteries

CEMETERY # ONE:

The first cemetery is on land originally granted to James Berry, and known as Lot No. 20.  It is about half a mile back from the road, up a very steep hill, and is in the center of the lower half of Lot No. 20, presently owned by Moody Thorne.  It has but one headstone, and it is a field stone with the inscription chiselled in it. CEMETERY # TWO:

The second cemetery is on land orriginally granted to Edward Lane, and known as Lot No. 21, presently owned by Mr. R.L. Bond. It is in about the center of the Lot No. 21, by a small brook, and is about the same distance from the road as the first cemetery. This cemetery has one marble and one field stone. (See separate map file.)
