Mrs. Fannie Cutler Hall Hyde

BAKERSFIELD -- News has been received here of the death of Mrs. Fannie Cutler Hall Hyde, 83, which occurred at the home of her step-son, Charles H. Hyde, in West Windsor Tuesday evening. She had no near relatives, but is survived by four step-children, G. Edward Hyde of Washington, D. C.; Charles H. Hyde of West Windsor, L. Spencer Hyde of Philadelphia, Pa., and Miss Rhoda A. Hyde of St. Albans.

Mrs. Hyde was born in Troy April 22, 1860, the daughter of Dr. George B. Cutler and Lucelia Pratt Cutler. She had lived here nearly all her life in the first frame house in town built by her grandfather in 1790. She married the Rev. Morton Hall, who died a number of years ago. They lived one year in Ames, Ia. In 1927 she married Dr. George B. Hyde and lived 12 years in Wilmington. After his death she returned here to her home.

She was a graduate of the Boston Conservatory of Music. She was a music teacher here for several years and had taught music in Brigham Academy. She was a life-long member of the Methodist Church and had always taken an active part in church affairs.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:30 p.m. at the late home. Interment will be in the family plot in Maple Grove Cemetery.
