Norman Craig / Velma Short - Wedding Announcement

Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Short of Royal Heights announce the marriage of their daughter, Velma to Norman Craig, Sunday. The ceremony was read by the Rev. Jesse Weaver, pastor of the Tower of Light Congregational church at his home at 5 o'clock. Miss Pearl Pope and Ernest Brickey were the attendants. Following the service, the bridal party went to the Craig home at Ninth street and McKinley avenue, where dinner was served. The bride is the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Short and has spent her life in Goodman, Mo., until the family moved to Joplin three years ago. The bridegroom is the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Craig of Castle Rock. He is an assistant chemist at the Waring & Williams laboratory. Both Mr. And Mrs. Craig are active workers in the Royal Heights Congregational church.
