Mrs. John P. Craig died at her late home in Joplin, Missouri, Tuesday, May 2nd 1916 at 11:15 a.m. The body will be brought to Memphis for burial, and the funeral will take place in this city. While no definite arrangements have yet been made, it is likely the funeral will take place Friday. The deceased was born at Somerset, Perry County, Ohio, December 6, 1833. At her death she was aged 82 years 4 months and 26 days. She was married to J. P. Craig May 6, 1856, at Keosauqua, Iowa, where they made their home until November 7th 1865, when they moved to Memphis, Missouri. This city was their residence continuously from that time until the year 1907 when they moved to Joplin, Mo., where they have since resided. Mrs. Craig was one of the good women of the early days of this city, and there are many relatives and friends still living here. These have the sympathy of the entire community in their bereavement.
