The GRAVES Connecton | According to the Kays Family History by Norman Craig, Orra A. Henry was the daughter of Sylvester S. and Orra Henry. In her Ancestral File submission, Ms. Lois Kays Kelly confirms the marriage of Sylvester and Orra, giving her maiden name as Graves. Ancestry.com's Massachusetts vital records collection, does list a marriage between a Sylvester S. Henry, and Orra Graves in 1834 at Ashton, MA (just about the right time) however, Ms. Kelly's records show Sylvester being born in Iowa, and Ancestry's vital records collection shows him being "of Brookfield, VT" at the time of the marriage. Are these the same people? |
