Parochial Registers of Hacketstown, 1820-1877
Diocese of Kildare and Leighlin, Roman Catholic Parish of Hacketstown, Co. Carlow

LDS Family History Library British Isles Film #926115. Some of the pages as they appear on the microfilm are rather faded and worn, and they are difficult to read. Some of the handwriting is also difficult to interpret. The writing is quite "spiked" and the letters m, n, r, u, i, etc. are nearly indistinguishable in many entries. However, for the earlier years at least, there do not appear to be many entries for Cummins of any spelling. (Every effort has been made to be as accurate as possible in these transcriptions. However, these are our interpretations of the original handwritten entries, and, since we are not perfect, there may be errors. We recommend that you check the microfilm yourself to verify the information. Many pages and entries were very faded and some completely unreadable.)
