Discovered Headstone
The Borris Parish Newsletter has
carried the news that Fás workers Willie Cummins
and Jack Jordan discovered a 150-year-old slate-type headstone buried in
Ballymurphy graveyard. The headstone was erected by William Byrne,
Ballymurphy in memory of his parents. The stone can be seen opposite the
Coach House between the Byrne and Dalton family plots. |
