DEATH of Kathleen Cummins

The death occurred in Willowbrook Nursing Home, Newbridge, on Friday September 19 of Kathleen Cummins, late of Woodlands East, Castledermot. 

Kathleen was predeceased by her husband Richard, daughters Laura and Rose, and her son Lar. She is survived by her daughters Mary Hennessy, Abbeylands, and Caroline Burns, Naas, sons John and Richard, Manchester, her sons-in-law, daughters-inlaw, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces and a wide circle of friends. 

Fr. Paddy Jones assisted by Fr. P. Seary and Fr. Noel O’Donnell received Kathleen’s remains into the Church of the Assumption Castledermot on Saturday evening. Requiem Mass was celebrated by Fr. Paddy Jones on Sunday. 
Kathleen’s family and extended family all took part in the ceremony, which was a fitting celebration of Kathleen’s life. A Guard of Honour was provided by the Castledermot Community Services, of which Kathleen was a Founder, for the journey from the Church of the Assumption to Coltstown Cemetery where Kathleen was laid to rest.
