Variety Concert

The community of Ballon are currently getting ready to tread the boards with gusto, in preparation for this Friday, Sunday and Saturday night, they bring a touch of 'variety' to the village.

A Variety Concert featuring the best in local talent will take place in Ballykealey House Hotel, on Friday, March 19, Sunday 21 and Monday 22, at 8pm nightly.

The concert will feature two one act plays from Ballon Dramatic Group, the hilarious comedy, 'The Bell of Boolavogue' and the compelling drama 'Jack Fury.'

On the cast of The Bell of Boolavogue is Chrissey McGath, Louise Swayne, Paul Cummins, John Whlean, John Barry and Pat Carroll while Jack Fury's cast of three includes Patricia Roche, Bernie Mullins and Martin O'Halloran.

Also performing on the night is a full programme of local and visiting talent, which will include singing, dancing and music playing of all kinds.
