DEATH:

The death of Mrs Cummins, Glasslackenon, October 23 took place at her residence after a long illness. Her husband John Cummins died some twelve years ago. Well known and popular she is mourned by her sons John Cummins, Finchogue, and Nicky Cummins, Glasslacken, her daughters Sarah O'Brien, Kilmyshall, Anne Skelton, Wexford and Mary McLoughlin, Carlow; sons-in-law Michael O'Brien, Philip Skelton, and Mark McLoughlin; daughters-in-law Ellen Cummins, Finchogue; and Christina Cummins, Glasslaken; her grandchildren Sarah, Elaine, Nicola, Sean, Ciara, Shaun and relatives. The remains were interred in Calvan Cemetery after Requiem Mass celebrated by Rev. R. Lawless. A large number of clergy also attended.
