Mr. James Nolan

The death occurred at St. James' Hospital, Dublin, on Sunday, December 20 of Mr Jim Nolan, Glenogue, Bennekerry. Aged 81, the late Mr Nolan was a mechanic by trade and worked with Byrnes Garage, Tullow, IPL, Grangeford and Morrissey's, Grangeford. He was a vintage car and steam enthusiast and was a keen follower of motor cycle racing. His remains were removed to St. Patrick's Church, Rathoe, on Monday evening, (December 21) and burial took place in the adjoining cemetery after Requiem Mass on the following morning. He is survived by his wife Bridget, daughters Mrs Carmel Wilson (Dublin), Mrs Mary Walsh (Dublin), Mrs Peg Dalton (Dublin), Mrs Anne Morrissey (Glenogue) and Mrs Noeleen Breen (Moyle), brother Matt (Tynock), sisters Mrs Judy Slattery (England), Mrs Bridget Fitzgibbon (Dublin), Mrs Peg Dalton (Dublin), Mrs Nan Foley (Dublin), Mrs Mary Harmon (Kiltegan) and Mrs Esther Cummins (Kiltegan), and by his sons-in-law, brother-in-law, grandchildren, nephews and nieces.
