Bagenalstown
- Roses visit ewe show and sale
THE annual Bagenalstown
Ewe Breeders Association Show and Sale is a highly unlikely place to
find the height of fashion. But that's just what happened on Thursday,
August 22 when the Show and Sale at Borris Livestock Mart was visited by
no less than the 28 contestants in the 2002 Rose of Tralee.
This was a real coup for
the Bagenalstown Ewe Breeders Association members, with the Roses
presenting a number of prizes to winners on the day.
The Roses were visiting
Borris as part of their trip around County Carlow.
