She married William J. Kessler in Minersville, Schuylkill Co., PA, 25 Nov 1914. Bill raised Lauretta's son Bill Murphy. (William J. Kessler is #452.)

Bill was born May 1885 in Forestville, Cass Twp., Schuylkill Co., PA. Bill was the son of Frances (Frank) Kessler and Julia Ann Brennan. Bill died 31 Jan 1937 Black Heath, Cass Twp., Schuylkill Co., PA, at 51 years of age.⁽¹²²⁾ His body was interred 4 Feb 1937 in Minersville, Schuylkill Co., PA, St. Vincent's Cemetery No. 2.
