Bodman and Sarah Jane Kessler. Mary was a member of Zion's Reformed United Church of Christ; the Ashland Chapter of the Eastern Star; Gordon and Ashland Senior Citizens; American Fire Company No. 1 Auxiliary in Fountain Springs; and the Ashland VFW Auxiliary.

6 v. Richard Lewis Strobel (#1042) was born Ashland, Schuylkill Co., PA 16 Sep 1915. Richard died 13 Nov 1931 Butler Twp., Schuylkill Co., PA, at 16 years of age.⁽¹⁰⁴¹⁾ His body was interred 17 Nov 1931 Fountain Springs, Butler Twp., Schuylkill Co., PA, Christ Church Cemetery. ASHLAND - Pauline Bensinger, 86, 267 Germanville Road, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2008, at Schuylkill Medical Center, E. Norwegian St., Pottsville.

Born in Locustdale on Oct. 23, 1922, she was a daughter of the late George and Viola (Bodman) Strobel.

She graduated with the Ashland High School Class of 1940.

She was married to Clyde Bensinger, of Ashland, who survives.

Pauline worked as a branch manager at Ashland National Bank and Pennsylvania National Bank in Ashland until retirement.

She was a member of Zion's Reformed United Church of Christ, Ashland, where she was a past member of the Church Official Board.

She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the V.F.W., Ashland, and a member of the Gordon and Ashland Area Senior Citizens.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two step-daughters, Donna and husband Robert Cress of Ashland, and Debra and husband Carl Shoup of Ringtown; a sister, Sarah Umlauf of Ashland; four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by four sisters, Helen Kober, Jean Sener, Mildred Welker and Mary Gober, and a brother, Richard E. Strobel.

Her body was interred 22 Nov 2008 in Hometown, Rush Twp., Schuylkill Co., PA, Sky-View Memorial Park. She married twice.

She married Julius Balchumas in Schuylkill Co., PA. (Julius Balchumas is #3003.) She married Clyde R. Bensinger in Schuylkill Co., PA, 4 Mar 1983. (Clyde R. Bensinger is #1083.) Clyde was born 14 Feb 1922.

She resided Ashland, Schuylkill Co., PA 1984 - 2008, 267 Germanville Road.

8 vii. Jean Lois Strobel (#1084) was born Ashland, Schuylkill Co., PA 10 Mar 1925. Jean died 24 July 2008 in Pottsville, Schuylkill Co., PA, at 83 years of age. Her body was interred 26 July 2008 Fountain Springs, Butler Twp., Schuylkill Co., PA, Christ Church Cemetery. She married Bruce Ginther Sener Ashland, Schuylkill Co., PA, 26 Oct 1952. (Bruce Ginther Sener is #1085.) Bruce was born 3 May 1922 Ashland, Schuylkill Co., PA. Bruce was the son of Charles Sener and Amelia Guinther.
