"I, Jane Culbert, of the Township of [Nether Providence]
Chester, in the County of Delaware and the State of Pennsylvania do make and
publish this to my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking and making void all former Wills by me at any time heretofore made."
"Item 1st. I direct that all my funeral expenses and just
debts shall be paid as soon as conveniently may be after my decease."
"Item 2nd. I give and devise unto my son, Thomas, all the
notes I hold against him now in the Delaware County National Bank, also in the
Bank of Samuel A. DYER, Chester. Also one hundred dollars in cash. And I give to my son Harry one bed, bedstead, and bedding. And to my granddaughter Jane P. Culbert, my best bed, bedstead, and bedding. To my daughter, Margaret Mace, two hundred dollars, and to my daughter, Martha Eves, two hundred dollars."
"Item 3rd. I give, devise, and bequeath unto my son, Robert F. Culbert, all my household and kitchen furniture, except what is heretofore devised to my son Harry, and granddaughter Jane, and also all my stock of cattle, horses, etc. together with all my farming utensils and the sum of six hundred dollars in cash."
"Item 4th. I give, devise, and bequeath unto my daughter
Hannah B. Weaver, wife of Isaac Weaver, her heirs and assigns, the sum of three hundred dollars."
"Item 5th. I give and bequeath unto my son, Robert F.
Culbert, and my son-in-law, William H. Eves, their heirs, executors,
administrators, or assigns, all my real estate, situate in the Township of
[Nether Providence] Chester aforesaid. In trust nevertheless that they[sic] said Robert F. Culbert and William H. Eves shall and will within one year from and after my decease, have my real estate surveyed and expose the same to public sale, and sell the same to the highest and best bidder if an adequate price be bidden for the same. And, if not, in their opinion, then to adjourn the sale and re-expose the same to public sale as soon thereafter as they may think will be of most advantage to my estate. And when sold, to execute and deliver to the purchaser or purchasers thereof good and sufficient deed or deeds of conveyances conveying a good title in fee simple to said estate."
"And the money arising from such sale, first to pay aforesaid legacies and bequests, and also to pay and have placed up a railing round my cemetery lot. And head and foot stone to my grave if not done prior to my decease. And the balance of said purchase money after deducting the expenses attending said sale etc. I give, devise, and direct shall be paid over to and distributed among all my children, except my son Thomas, share and share alike or their heirs or assigns."
"Item 6th. I hereby nominate, constitute, and appoint my said son, Robert F. Culbert, and my son-in-law, William H. Eves, Executors and
Trustees of this my last Will and Testament and declare this and this only to by my last Will and Testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this Twenty second day of April in the year of our Lord, eighteen hundred and eighty one."

"Signed, sealed, published, and declared by the above named Jane Culbert as and for her last Will and testament in presence of us, who at her request and in her presence have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses in the presence of her and in the presence of each other. The words Nether Providence on first line of first page and the same on the third line of second page [Item 5th.] erased and the words Chester interlined[?] before signing."
