Note: All of the foregoing information on CUSBERT not otherwise footnoted was provided by John Richards, 1 Johnston Street, Balmain, Sydney, NSW, Australia 2041.  [Email: richards at  Last Contact: Apr 2003.]  John has been tracing the descendants of the CUSBERT family in Australia.  Their original shipping papers gave the name as CUTHBERT, but all subsequent documents use CUSBERT.  John has located almost 1000 CUSBERT family descendants, and has accumulated about 400 pages of published sources, such as newspaper articles.  Another interested CUSBERT descendant, who contacted me in Nov 2003, is Pauline DEAS, a GGGGrandchild of Joseph and Alicia WILLIAMS CUSBERT.  [Email: westex55 at]
