Samuel's will was made on 23 Nov 1885. 5  He willed the residue of his estate to his "beloved friend Hester A. WISDOM, wife of R.H.B. WISDOM now of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania."  Furthermore, at the time of Hester's death, Samuel directed that his real estate be given to "her son, Samuel Culbert WISDOM." See WISDOM Family  His named Executor was his "esteemed friend" James H. The first account of settlement by the administrator of Samuel's estate, the Wilmington Trust Co., was dated 15 Feb 1906.  It included cash received from J. Milton MADDOX, proceeds from the sale of unspecified real estate ordered by the Orphan's Court made in May and September 1905, with total received amounting to $12,990.95.  In addition, there was a first and final accounting by the executor dated 11 Feb 1905.  Here, it shows rents totalling $3,136.00 from Feb 1903 to Dec 1904 received from the estate of James CULBERT, split half and half between the estates of Samuel CULBERT and Thomas CULBERT.  The properties listed included: 26

Rent was also received from a house at the corner of 14th and Orange, as well as from the estate of M. and S.
