Bessie Viola Allender

The funeral of Bessie Viola Allender, aged 16 years, who died at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence C. Allender, nine and one-half miles on the Tate's Creek pike, of pneumonia, was held at the grave in the family lot in the Lexington Cemetery yesterday morning at 11 o'clock, the Rev. Mr. Hinton and Rev. Nelson Crull officiating. Pallbearers were Robert and William Clark, Paul and Leslie Sellers, Everett Botkin and Vernard McClanahan. Honorary pallbearers were Mrs. Anna C. munday, Mabel and Darah Sharp, Elizabeth McClanahan, Mattie Sellers, Ruth King, Bertha Sharp and Lena Cornish.
