Family history researchers, in a relentless search for documentation,
dates, events, something that's certain, can easily lose sight of the humanity represented by those dates and events. For me, it's important to remember - to forget diminishes me and my goal for these pages.
These are my people, easily reduced, if you wish, to dates and documentable events, both proud and ignoble. But I carry their faces in my heart and I will feel their absence all of my days.
Farther along we'll know all about it
Farther along we'll understand why
Cheer up my brother, live in the sunshine
We'll understand it all, by and by

May these, and all who sleep in Christ,
find in your presence
light, happiness, and peace.
Now may the Lord of peace Himself
give you peace at all times and in every way.
The Lord be with all of you.
