Privacy Issues

Once you send your test kit to Family Tree DNA (FTDNA) for testing, you and the Project Administrator will be the only people to see the results (unless you choose to share your identity and results with others).

FTDNA assigns you a test kit number which will be your identifier on the results page on this website.

You may choose to have your name and email address identified on this website if you wish, but we will not display this information without written authorization from you.

Family Tree DNA does not have the right to publish your results.  If you want your test deleted from the project, FTDNA will do so.  To view FTDNA's privacy statement, click here.
