Text: Mrs. Mary Bresnan 85 a resident of the Dalton City area for 55 years died Tuesday morning. She made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Will Heneberry near Dalton City.

She leaves her daughter and a son Edward J. of Sullivan, and seven grandchildren. Her husband Edward, whom she married in 1890 died in 1937. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Church in Dalton City.

The body is in Moran's Funeral Home where friends may call. Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at the Sacred Heart Church and burial will be in St. Isidore's.

Text: Edward J. Bresnan, 75, of rural Lovington, died at 7:30 p.m., March 30, 1968 in St. Mary's Hospital, Decatur.

Borm May 22, 1892 in Dora Township, Moultrie County, Illinois, he was the son of Edward and Mary Ann Hughes Bresnan.

He was a retired farmer and had lived in Lovington Township for the past four years. He was a member of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Lovington.

He was married to Grace Brown who survives. Other survivors are a son, Charles Bresnan of Lovington; a daughter, Mrs. Carl (Mary Margaret) Mocabee of Lovington; and a sister, Mrs. Mary Alice Henneberry of Bethany. There are two grandchildren.

Funeral services were at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in St. Mary's Catholic Church in Lovington with the Rt. Rev. Msgr. Daniel Daly officiating. Burial was in St. Isadore Cemetery.
