SAMUEL PLUMMER was born July 19, 1754 in Frederick Co. Maryland, and died
May 15, 1850 in Fincastle, Owsley Co. Kentucky. He married NANCY ANN
He enlisted in the Revolutionary War on March 1, 1778 in Frederick County, Maryland, where he was placed under Capt. Thomas Bouck in Col. William Piper's Regiment. He served as an Indian Spy and was in a skrimish at Phillips Fort. He was discharged November 6, 1778. He married Nancy Ann Higgins about 1791 but no marriage records have been found.
