WILL OF THOMAS WHITE OF MADISON CO KY.
I believe him to be the father of Nicholas and John White, both also of Madison Co. KY. All, I believe formerly of NC. Any connections welcome.
In the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and eighteen I Thomas
White of Madison County and State of Kentucky being in a low State of
health believing that in a Short time that I Shall depart this life and
bring To dispose in Sound mind and memory and wishing to dispose of my
estate in the following manner to wit. First I will my sole to God who
first Gave it Secondly I will and bequeath my bed and furniture
thereto belonging to my beloved wife Margaret and after death to my Grand
Son Nicholas Holly. Thirdly I will and bequeath to my Daughter Charity
Gess One bay horse Fourth I will and bequeath to my son Nicholas White
my Saddle Fifthly my will is that all my estate both real and personal
be sold on a twelve months Credit and the money arising there from to be
equally divided between my wife and all my children and their heirs and
assigns I do appoint hereby ordain and appoint John White and David
Bruton as my Executors to this my last will and Testament as witness my
hand and seal August 25 1818.

I William Irwine Clerk of the Court for the County aforesaid do hereby
certify that at a County Court held for Madison County on Monday the 5th
day of October 1818. This instrument of writing was this day produced in
open Court and Proven to be the last will and Testament of Thomas White
deceased was proven to by the oaths Edward Roberts and Briant Newby
Subscribing Witnesses therto and ordered to be recorded.
