Filed 25th Dec 1851 } and fifty One between Joseph H
Recorded 6th Jany 1852 } Nicholass of Lafayette County
Mississippi of the first part and John G Browning
of Lafayette County Mississippi of the second part
Witinesseth that the party of the first part for and
in consideration of the Sum of four hundred dollars
to him in hand paid by the party of the second part
the receipt whereof is hereby ackowledged has granted
bargained sold and conveyed and do by these presents
does grant bargain sell and convey unto the party of the
second part his heirs and assigns all the certain
peace on parcel of land Situated in the County of
Lafayette in the State of Mississippi Known and
distinguished as follows North west quarter of Section
twenty two Township nine of Range four (NW1/4 S.22
Town 9 Range 4 west with the South west quarter of
Section fifteen in Township nine of Range four SW1/4
S.15 Town 9 Range 4 west. Together with all appertances
to said premises belonging and all Estate to the
and interest boath at law and in Equity of him
the party of the first part in the same To have
and to hold the said granted premises
the appertancences unto the party of the second
part his heirs and assigns forever in ___
and the Said Joseph Henderson Nicholass
of the first part for himself his heirs
and Administrators does hereby covanant
the said party of the second part his heirs
assigns that he the said party of the first
part shall forever warrant and defend
title to the said premises with the appertances
unto the party of the second part his heirs
assigns against the claim of all persons
claiming the same or any part thereof
against the claim of Taxes in March 1851.
