The State of Alabama   ) This indenture made and concluded
Coosa County           ) on the fourth day of December, in
     		the year Eighteen hundred and sixty
    six between James Curlee of the first part and Rebecca
    Curlee and Amy Curlee of the second part, all of
    Coosa County -- Witnesseth that for and in consideration
    of the sum of Four Hundred Dollars to me in hand paid
    by the said Rebecca Curlee and Amy Curlee, the receipt
    thereof I do hereby acknowledge, hath granted, bargained,
    and sold, and doth by these presents grant, bargain,
    sell and convey unto the said Rebecca Curlee and
    Amy Curlee the following described lands to wit:
    The North East quarter of Section Four, Township
    Twenty Range Eighteen, situated, lying & being in the
    said County of Coosa   To have and to hold the
    aforesaid described land to them the said Rebecca Curlee
    and Amy Curlee, and to their hiers and assigns
    forever, and the said James Curlee will warrant &
    forever defend, the rights and titles to them the said
    Rebecca Curlee, and Amy Curlee, their hiers, and
    assigns against the lawful claims of all persons -
