Balunsat, Alexis P.-[1]

  General Notes:

A Disturbing Note:
In 1981, while I was working and living in Europe, I received a call from my daughter,
Zandra, from Maryland, that they ( or somebody) had read an article, saying that I had died from drowning in Hawaii. I told her that I can't find any explanation for that, but that I had lost my passport once on a train to Montreal and Quebec from D.C., and it may have been solen by somebody, who drowned.
This year (2002), while I was searching for my genealogy, I found that there was a person named Alex Balunzat (SSN # 560-06-6679) , b. 11/29/1950, who died in October, 1981 in Hawaii.
There appears to be another Balunzat, named Concordio Balunzat (SSN# 576-66-3431, issued HI),
b. 1/1/1904, who died on 7/28/1977. That could have been the parent or ancestor of this Alex Balunzat.
Under the FOIA, I could probably find out more about these persons through the SSA (fee costs $27.00),
but being short on funds, I regretably had to forego this course. I also was thinking, that by tracing this family's hsitory, I might find something on the origin of my last name.
On Wed., 8/14/02, I also called my cousin Harold Liban, whose mother, Socorro Lumicao, is supposedly related to us. According to the genealogy tree, he had researched, the Lumicao's are related to the Balnsat, several ways: One is through our ancestral lines, through the Logan family, and the other through a person named Inocencia Balunsat. I told him that for the life of me, I could not figure out how Inocencia is related to my ancestors. Could she have been the sister of Miguel or Mauricio. I had no idea, as I didn't know how many siblings they had had. My ex-wife, Maria Carillo, had taken all the research records I had made when I was in Solano.

Alexis married Vonda Evelyn White-[8] [MRIN:5], daughter of Herbert Joyce White-[11] and Mildred Hiatt-[12], on 19 Feb 1959 in Sacramento, CA., U.S.A. The marriage ended in divorce. (Vonda Evelyn White-[8] was born on 2 Jul 1939 in American Falls, Idaho, U.S.A.)

Alexis also married Luz Naval-[13] [MRIN:1], daughter of Camilo Naval-[454] and Bartola Reyes-[455], on 31 Dec 1969 in Washington, D.C., USA. The marriage ended in divorce. (Luz Naval-[13] was born on 9 Jan 1936 in Zambales Province, Philippines.)

Alexis also married Maria Theodora Carillo-[15] [MRIN:7] on 14 Oct 1988 in Manila, Philippines. (Maria Theodora Carillo-[15] was born on 17 Sep 1956 in Gapan, Nueva Ecija, Philippines.)
