Elisha Helwick (1811-1873) of Lycoming and Sullivan Counties, Pennsylvania, and Washington County, Iowa; mar. 1835, Sarah Narver.  Is he the son of Adam Helwig, Jr.?

Johannes Holzer (1789-1870) and Magdalena Siegfried of Latterbach, Bern, Switzerland. Four of their children emigrated to Ohio in 1853. 

Joseph Whipple (1752-1843) and Mary Virgil of Berkshire County, Massachusetts, and Trumbull County, Ohio.  His parents are Jonathan and Anne Whipple.  How do they fit into the New England Whipple families?
